The newest diet pill that ruined its own reputation in the US is Acomplia which has been proven to be effective. It is now only sold in Europe because of the results of an experiment regarding its effects on laboratory mice. The experiment showed that Acomplia has adverse effects on brain development during a period of growth. The experiment results showed that Acomplia affects the compliance of the mouse brain that led to the mice's lesser ability to understand definite situations. Because of this, it is not advisable for children - or those in the developmental stages of live - to take in Acomplia.
